Study on Grinding Additives in Cassiterite–Polymetallic Sulfide Ore Grinding

To attempt a new approach to improve the grinding of cassiterite–polymetallic sulfide ores while simultaneously reducing cassiterite overgrinding and undergrinding, this article looked into effects chemical additives on distribution product size. Six chemicals, namely sodium hexametaphosphate, triethanolamine, ferric sulphate, aluminum chloride, polyaluminum chloride polyacrylamide, were compared in terms their influence size distribution. The results showed that six chemicals changed with varying orientations degrees addition polyacrylamide achieved most satisfactory effect by decreasing production both coarse fine fractions increasing qualified particles. molecular weight was also discussed. polyacrylamides weights about 3 × 106, 5 8 106 12 could help produce less fraction more fraction, but only produced pronounced changes. Moreover, slightly reduce fraction. Polyacrylamide better than aiding discussed ore. It found aid action related concentration low 70% solid mass helpful exerting its action.
